Angela Gahng, our founder, worked as a merchandiser in New York City for contemporary and luxury brands, including Club Monaco and Loewe. She found that in the retail space, high quality, new models were not offered at a fair price. There were so many brands on the market, but the quality/design was either too costly or just not there.
Almina Concept was developed by both a customer and an industry expert to provide a brand that women could trust for contemporary wardrobe items. “High quality shouldn’t be unaffordable, so we cut out the middle men and work directly with factories to offer the right price to our customers.” She also focuses on building a well.
