An skilled horseman had second thoughts in 1992 about the unpleasant, costly, synthetic clothing that he and his fellow riders were still caught wearing. He knew about the need for convenient, affordable riding apparel and they agreed.
Thus, Varun “Timmy” Sharma started relentlessly studying, designing and working to create a modern, forward-thinking clothing company called Breeches. From his factory in New Delhi, India, he took his unusual clothing made with comfortable, natural fibers and went to Europe and America’s prestigious markets. He sold at reasonable rates his comfortable riding clothes and the world took note.
With a team of Americans Since then, the company has evolved to become one of the world’s largest manufacturers of equestrian riding apparel and accessories, among other products, and is marketed to riders in more than 55 countries worldwide. Over time, new developments in technical fabric creation and imaginative design have contributed to the comfortable riding apparel of Breeches at an affordable price, from eco-conscious, breathable fabrics to CS2 breech bottoms and UltraGripp knee patches. And old classics like the Baker plaid signature have gained from the new, imaginative processes of Breeches.
