In 1990, in his home town of Sebastopol, CA, Craig Phillips began Quality Water Treatment. Sebastopol and the surrounding Sonoma County is a remote, largely rural country-side area that has a lot of private water wells specializing in Apple farming. Craig began as a laborer for Rayne Water system in 1986 in the water treatment industry, where he learned how to build and operate water treatment equipment. Craig eventually became sales manager at a new branch based in Redding, CA and was quickly promoted to general manager. So he packed up and moved his family from his hometown around a four-hour drive.
